IN LOVING MEMORY OF

  Nicodemo M. "Demo"

Scarfo

  August 18, 1922 -

February 29, 2008

God looked around His garden

And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the earth,

And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful,

He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough,

And the hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids,

And whispered "Peace be thine".

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you didn’t go alone

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

Nicodemo Michele Scarfo was born in Italy in 1922 to Philip and Caterina (Capagreco) Scarfo. He and his wife Immacolata came to America in 1951 with no more than their dreams and a passion for doing whatever they could to make sure his family was taken care of. Known to many as 'Demo', he was a very gifted master craftsman who created many beautiful things in life; but none more beautiful and important to him than his family. He was also an accomplished and highly respected “Caribinieri”; something he was very proud of and something that clearly shaped his character and perspective on life. Nicodemo passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. He was 85 years of age.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our 3 parking lots. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Nicodemo being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elm Street, Everett.
