Sarro - Edward C. of East Boston, passed away on Thursday November 19th, 2009.
Husband of the late Mildred (Trecart) Sarro.
Father of Angelo Sarro of Merrimac, and Theresa Hillman of Mississippi.
Visiting hours in the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga
Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston on Tuesday morning November 24th, 2009 from
8:00am to 9:30am
followed by
a Funeral Mass celebrating his life in the Most Holy Redeemer Church,
Maverick Square, Maverick Street, East Boston at
10:00am.
Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
Edward was born in Boston in 1921 to the late Angelo and Theresa (Pociello)
Sarro. He served his country in the US Army and was a decorated veteran
of WWII. He later worked for many years in the Navy Shipyard as a
painter. Edward passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday
morning. He was 88
years of age.
The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a
children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front
entrance and ample attendant off street parking is also available in our

Services will conclude with Edward being laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in
Malden.
