DeFilippo - Vincent T. Jr. of East Boston, passed away on Tuesday February 23rd, 2010.
Beloved husband of over 60 years to Lena (Montalto) DeFilippo.
Devoted father of Thomas DeFilippo and his fiancée Christina Jones of East Boston, Steven and his wife Anne of Saugus, David and his wife Barbara of North Reading, and Sharon Wright and her husband Alexander of Revere.
Dear brother of Rosemarie Grasso of East Boston.
Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Jenna, Kristy, Ashley and Megan.
Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services in the chapel of the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston on Thursday February 25th at 11:00am. Visiting prior to the service starting at 9:00am.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Vincent was born in Boston in 1927 to the late Vincent and Florence (Ippolito)
DeFilippo. He served his country in the US Navy and was a decorated
veteran of WWII. Vincent worked for over 30 years with American Airlines
in the Fleet Service Division. He passed away peacefully in the
Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home on Tuesday morning after a brief illness.
Vincent was
82
years of age.

Services will conclude with Vincent being laid to rest with military
honors in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elm Street, Everett.
